Brief: Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy were extending their living space and required a new kitchen. Their current kitchen was traditional. Inspired by the design ideas they saw on Houzz, they wanted a more contemporary look but needed some help to translate their vision into reality.

Design: Due to the size of the room, an extra-large island incorporating family dining was required. In order to achieve this, the design incorporated a split level island with a Silestone Blanco Zeus worktop which helped define the kitchen and dining areas. The appliances are Siemens and the extractor is a down-draft model, which means it is hidden in the island when not in use. The look is completed with aquamarine stools from Calligaris, also available at Kube.
