While converting two rooms into one, we had to maintain a structural wall due to restrictions, in this listed building. We felt it was vital to utilise a lacquer gloss finish and quartz worktops to reflect light and create a connection between the two rooms. Contemporary handle-less cabinets from the Leicht Largo FG range in Carbon Grey and Mohair produces a sleek, streamlined look and provides continuity. The touch of wood softens the gloss while adding warmth to the room, and the open drawers add an inviting glow with remote-controllable Kube emotion lighting.
The kitchen is from the Leicht Minera-C range in Kiruna with Calypto wall cladding and breakfast bar. The door finish is resistant to finger marks, making it very easy to maintain within a busy household or where there is a lot of entertaining. The worktop is from CRL Stone in Chestnut. One of the primary focuses of our client, when designing this kitchen, was to create a social space that would be ideal for entertaining. They wanted an island with seating, so the cook and the guests could interact while the food was being prepared. We achieved this requirement by framing the breakfast bar with gable panels in the same material as the door fronts. This method created an exciting overlap feature of the breakfast bar appearing to be built into the peninsula.
This kitchen is from the Leicht Sirius-C range in Arctic White Gloss. The finish choice makes for a clean, sleek kitchen that looks uncluttered and keeps the kitchen bright. To add warmth, the breakfast bar is finished in Limes Oak with matching wall panels, giving the kitchen a homely quality. A challenge that we see frequently is to put spectacular kitchens into smaller rooms. This client wanted to include an island with seating for three in their kitchen. By maintaining the correct working distances with the surrounding units, we were able to design an island that included an induction cooktop and a breakfast bar with seating for three.
This kitchen is comprised of contemporary, handle-less doors from the Leicht Ceres-C range in Merino Matt. The Breakfast bar from Leicht is Noyer, a variation of walnut, that adds warmth and a cosy feel. The worktop is Silestone in Blanco Zeus which ties all of the finishes together. There were several details on the checklist for this kitchen, often seeming to contradict each other. For instance, the customer wanted an extremely functional kitchen but with a minimalist, neutral look. Located in an open-plan space, along with the dining and living areas, the kitchen needed to have an understated character. We achieved this by raising the breakfast bar creating a design feature that shields the mechanics of the kitchen from view, from the dining/lounge areas.
Due to the property location and surrounding woods, the kitchen designer felt it was essential to bring the feeling of natural beauty indoors. The dark wood Noyer finish, from the Leicht Synthia range combined with a contrasting light concrete effect for the island with the Ikono range in Keraton, was the perfect combination to achieve this. The Dekton worktops in Halo generate the ideal amount of reflection, which helps maintain natural light sources throughout the day along with complementing the matt door finish. The organic ambience overlays the realisation of a contemporary kitchen. The result is an amazing coming together of modern kitchen functionality with a comforting rustic atmosphere.
Kube Ceres-C kitchen in Platinum accompanied by Concrete-C in Brasilia. A breakfast bar in Limes Oak with matching cladding on the front adorns the island along with a Dekton Keon worktop. Concealed by a pair of disappearing pocket doors, the double ovens with warming drawers are revealed for meal prep.
"I now have the kitchen of my dreams! Thanks to the experience, advice and patience provided by Robert and the team at Kube Kitchens. After only two weeks, I don't know how I lived without my Quooker hot and cold filtered water tap not to mention all of the other appliances. My Bora extractor means that I no longer have to open every window in the house when cooking. The quality and finish of the kitchen are exemplary, and Robert's advice on sourcing the perfect worktop was invaluable. I would recommend Kube without hesitation as my experience from design through installation was 100% positive."
Our client needed a kitchen that would fit their location and picturesque surroundings. They also wanted an island that could seat four in a narrow space. The result is a beautiful kitchen from our Sirius-C range in Mohair Gloss. The breakfast bar is in Limes Oak with a matching splashback and cladding behind the open shelving. The worktop is Silestone in Coral Clay on the island and in the prep zone which reflects the style and location harmoniously. Siemens appliances feature throughout including an induction hob with a retractable extractor. The kitchen is sleek and streamlined in appearance but is bursting with useful features that are befitting to comfortable modern living.
Kimberley worked with Shane in our Leigh-on-Sea store to create this beautiful kitchen design in her home in Brentwood. The kitchen from Leicht at Kube uses two contrasting colours, Stone Oak on the wall and Frosty White on the large island unit. Interestingly, there are also two stone colours in the kitchen with white quartz in contrast to the Stone Oak, incorporating the sink and Sensa Orinoco, extra deep worktop on the island.
Island cooking doesn’t need a large overhead extractor as the hob is Bora which means the extraction is built into the hob and is downdraft. The remaining cooking appliances are from Siemens.
As the kitchen is the heart of most people’s homes, with life radiating from this area, the kitchen design and quality must be right. This is why we are careful only to recommend a company who we are confident will deliver a great product and service.
“My experience in working with Kube is that the designers have been well trained and are passionate about their work and the design process. I am very happy to hand over the detailed design of the kitchen to Kube, knowing it will complete and enhance the transformation of our clients’ homes.”
Frank O’Sullivan, Managing Director, Shomera.
Kube Laq Satin Grey kitchen contrasted with Kube Vista in Basalt Oak. A ceiling mounted extractor is used to extract from the Siemens gas hob. The stools at the island are New York Taupe stools from the Calligaris furniture range at Kube.
“My husband and I recently ordered a kitchen from Kube. The service and quality was second to none and Kube were extremely helpful in assisting us to realise the design for our kitchen. Shane was a pleasure to deal with, he had great patience and attention to detail. The suggestions and design proposals which he put forward took into consideration our brief to him as to how we wanted the space to function for our family. Shane understood our vision and went over and above what you would expect in terms of consultation.”

American Walnut and White Gloss combine to create this spectacular kitchen from our Kube+ Lux range. The tall bank of units house Miele appliances and are designed in the warm Walnut finish. The large island unit in White Gloss has plenty of work surface, incorporating the Walnut in the seating zone for more casual dining. Wine coolers fitted in the island keep wine at the perfect temperature, while a tap from Quooker provides instant hot water for refreshments.
“Whether it’s cooking, eating, entertaining or relaxing with a cup of coffee, this kitchen shines through.”

“It was a challenging site at an unusual angle. As a corner site, it addressed two streets simultaneously, so there were a lot of considerations about how the new building would impact adjoining properties while satisfying the client brief. Ultimately, we maximised a tight site, created a bright, open-plan space for the family and transformed a mundane house into a light-filled contemporary home.”

This period house in Dublin underwent a major renovation and extension for a busy young family. The open plan kitchen space extended out to the garden. The aim was to create a functional modern kitchen with a design that ticked all the boxes for their family.
“To say we are delighted with the end result would be an understatement. Functionally and aesthetically, it’s top marks for Kube Kitchens.”

With tones of grey in the Quartz and Basalt Oak trim, the kitchen is sleek and visually stunning. The use of bulkheads and columns to frame the units is an important characteristic of the design.
“Our kitchen design achieves ease of movement, stunning features and a superb finish. Thanks to all the team at Kube, we are delighted with the finished product.”

Elaine wanted clean lines and a place for everything with this modern, sleek kitchen design. The round Walnut table top feature at the end of the Quartz counter top adds a real homely feel. Truly a modern kitchen for a modern family.
“We are delighted with our new kitchen. It delivers on all levels - it’s functional, modern, stylish and comfortable. Our kitchen is the hub of our home where we can eat, cook and chat together. All of our needs were listened to by Neil in Kube and together we designed our kitchen. Everything about the process was efficient, a real collaboration of expertise and ideas. The end result is fabulous, we love it, it’s a sociable living space for our family of five growing children.”
Elaine, Julianstown, Co. Meath.
This kitchen space had a very dark corner and a large chimney breast which had housed a range cooker. The requirement was to brighten up the room and to create a clean and modern look suitable for a young family. The chimney breast in the final design is concealed by a bank of tall units and a new Velux window gives the much needed extra light.
“After my first visit to the showroom, I had a good feeling about Kube Kitchens. What I didn’t realise at that stage was how good you guys were going to be. Sincere thanks to the entire Kube team.”
Karen and Adrian, Co. Dublin.
This kitchen needed to be warm, contemporary and bright while maximising the limited space for cooking and entertaining. The end result is a high gloss cream kitchen with stone beige worktops and light boxes to enhance the colour tones.
“I just want to express how happy we are with our new Kube kitchen. It looks absolutely fabulous”
Claire and Gareth, Dublin.
This kitchen area was dark, long and narrow. Designing it in different levels and shapes, we have given the room lighter air and a greater sense of spaciousness. The design is thoroughly modern and incorporates an eye-catching casual dining area, attached to the island. The contemporary design is softened by using warm colour combinations – Chic Cream Gloss and Vista Dark Oak – and by using 840 integrated handles, it keeps the lines uncomplicated, creating an elegant feel.
“The kitchen is fantastic, we are absolutely thrilled with it. We will recommend Kube to our friends, family and colleagues. The quality and look of the kitchen speaks for itself, but the service was second to none.”
