Colour trends for kitchens

Published on 28 Oct 2021 | Kube Design Ideas

Whites and creams have been steadfast trends in kitchen colours over the years, however more recent moves to darker, muter tones have set a new colour trend in kitchen design.

Grey, dark grey and even black have become extremely popular. Often, they are coupled with a contrasting material, such as a wood veneer or glass. Bossa in walnut veneer is the perfect choice with a black matt Classic door from Leicht.

Keeping with the darker kitchen colour trend, black drawers and appliances can be on show or hidden behind pocket doors. The effect is further enhanced when placed beside black shelving with glass fronts.

If you are considering a new kitchen, come and view all the colour trends across our range at one of our Kube stores in Leigh-on-Sea or Upminster or booking a design consultation here.

At door range such as Tocco in grey concrete follows the muted colour trend while the texture of the concrete brings the kitchen design to life.
